Emma has 25 years' experience working with patients in a range of settings.
Her special interests include falls prevention, pilates, chronic pain and orthopaedic rehabilitation.
Emma places high value in ensuring her patients feel heard; always seeking to understand and empower her patients.
After graduating from Curtin University in 1996, Emma travelled north to Kununurra where she gained wonderful clinical experience in orthopaedics, women's health and paediatrics. Returning to Perth, she has worked in private practice, hospital and community settings.
Following the birth of her third child in 2008, Emma suffered an ACL injury and experienced firsthand the painful journey of post operative knee rehabilitation. Since then, her children have also contributed to her clinical experience with several injuries of their own!
In 2021 Emma became very interested in the Pilates method and received training. She now loves incorporating Pilates as part of a holistic treatment approach to optimize outcomes!
In her leisure time Emma loves cooking, gardening, playing the piano and catching up with friends.
