Mel Ingram graduated with a masters in sports physiotherapy in 1999 from Griffith University, Queensland. She has worked with both high level and weekend warrior sporting teams, including hockey, rugby union, soccer and touch football for many years and spends many weekends providing medical support for ultra marathon trail running events, loving the community of these events.

Mel has spent most of the last 20 years in a role at the Elysia wellness retreat in the Hunter Valley, NSW, using her skills as a physio, personal trainer and wellness coach to get the best from the guests and improve positive longevity by teaching people to feel stronger, more balanced and more at home in their bodies. Her personal experience has seen her veer towards teaching peri and post menopausal women to be strong through lifting as well as teaching runners how to minimise injury through targeted strength and stability training.

Mel worked with Ellen at the Williamtown RAAF base in 2006, loving every minute, so jumped at the chance to pick up work at Physio Atelier. She is a keen weight lifting runner or running weight lifter (depending on the day) who will help you get back to your best.

Mel will be in the clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Tuesday mornings. She will also be running Women On Weights classes and strength classes for runners.
